Poor lighting
I really must make more of an effort to cut down on the glare from the lights when I photograph the book covers. The latest effort isn’t very good at all. The problem (apart from my sub-standard setup) is the protective coverings on the books. They reflect the light and make photographing them difficult. I could take them off, but I don’t really want to do that – some books are ok, but with others, it’s clearly a bad idea to remove them. I’ll figure something out.
